For over 40 years Richard has been teaching and coaching jugglers of all ages and all skill levels. In 2012 he received the Excellence in Education Award from the IJA. For many years he was the Juggling Coach for Circus Harmony-a Social Circus School located in St. Louis, MO. He is a YEP certified instructor and has also trained in Holistic Circus Therapy. He now teaches juggling at a school in Philadelphia. In 2020 he was given a special CoachZilla award for coaching over twenty-one winners of the PHIL award. He continues to teach workshops and bring competitors to the Groundhog Day Jugglers Festival each year.
